![Recherche de vidéos [1919]](http://video.google.com/common/google_logo_small.jpg){kind=logo}  Air Francecuboperu 9 mn - 11 oct. 2008 Air France fue fundada el 30 de agosto de 1933 producto de la fusión de Air Orient, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale de Pierre-Georges Latécoère, Société Générale de Transport Aérien (SGTA, la primera línea francesa, fundada en 1919 como Lignes Aériennes Farman), Air Union y CIDNA (Compagnie Internationale de Navigation). La aerolínea tiene numerosas rutas por toda Europa, aunque también vuela a las colonias francesas en el norte de África y a otros destinos. La compañía fue nacionalizada en el año 1946 creando la Compagnie Nationale Air France en un acto parlamentario el día 16 de junio de 1948. El gobierno se quedó el 70% de la nueva compañía y todavía (a fecha de mediados de 2002) posee un 54% de la aerolínea. El 4 de agosto de 1948, Max Hymans fue nombrado presidente de Air France. Durante sus trece años en la presidencia implementó una política de modernización basada en aviones jet, más concretamente el Sud Aviation Caravelle y el Boeing 707. En 1949 la compañía participó en la fundación de la SITA (Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques). La aerolínea usó el De Havilland Comet por un corto periodo de tiempo en 1953, pero fue rápidamente reemplazado por el Vickers Viscounts y, en 1959, la compañía comenzó a usar el elegante Sud Aviation Caravelle. En 1976, la aerolínea comenzó a usar la única aerolínea supersónica con el Concorde SST en un trayecto desde el Aeropuerto Charles de Gaulle hasta Nueva York y otras rutas que fueron abandonadas en 1982. El Concorde fue uno de los dos únicos aviones de pasajeros comercial supersónico. Recorría la distancia entre París y Nueva York en tan solo tres horas y 20 minutos (aproximadamente al doble de la velocidad del sonido). En 1994, un grupo de terroristas del grupo argelino GIA tomaron el vuelo 8969 de Air France, intentando estrellarlo en la Torre Eiffel. Las fuerzas especiales francesas intervinieron consiguiendo desbaratar el plan. El 25 de julio de 2000 el vuelo 4590 de Air France, un Concorde con destino al Aeropuerto Internacional John F. Kennedy de Nueva York se estrelló, matando a todos los ocupantes del vuelo y cuatro personas que estaban en tierra. El 31 de mayo de 2003, todos los Concorde fueron retirados de la circulación simultáneamente por Air France y British Airways debido a la escasa demanda resultado del desastre del año 2000. Muchos (si no todos) de estos aviones fueron transladados a museos. Por ejemplo, el Concorde F-BVFA (Foxtrot Alpha) fue trasladado al museo del aire y el espacio en Washington donde todavía se exhibe. El F-BVFB se llevó a un museo alemán, el F-BTSD al "Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace" en París, mientras que el F-BVFC fue trasladado a su lugar de manufactura en Toulouse (Francia) sede actual de Airbus. El 30 de septiembre de 2003, Air France y la compañía neerlandesa KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, anunciaron la fusión de ambas aerolíneas, formando una nueva compañía llamada Air France-KLM. Los dueños de Air France pasaron a tener el 81% de la nueva compañía, dejando el 19% restante a los dueños de KLM. Esto llevó a la participación del gobierno francés en la compañía a reducirse de un 54.4% a un 44%. El 24 de diciembre de ese mismo año, tres vuelos de Air France con destino al Aeropuerto Internacional de Los Ángeles en Los Ángeles fueron cancelados debido al miedo existente a que algún grupo terrorista embarcara en uno de ellos. It's called "Admiral" with the tag line "for love is strong as death." The film is created by the same team that produced the international hit 'Night Watch'. "Admiral" is the life story of Alexander Kolchak, one of the most outstanding and complicated people in Russian history. The polar explorer and naval commander opposed the revolution of 1917. Kolchak joined the White Army and fought against the Bolsheviks. In 1919 he was declared supreme commander of Russia. A great part of Russia's territory in Siberia and the Far East came under his command. Andrei Kravchuk, Director of "Admiral", said, "It's a man who tries to create history, to take an active part in history, but he gets caught in the turmoil. However he keeps on struggling, he preserves his honour, his dignity and he continues to love". "Admiral" is also a film about a great love, set against the backdrop one of the most dramatic periods in Russian history. It was an era that brought the Japanese War of 1905, the First World War and the Russian Civil War. Kolchak was a beloved husband and father. He met Anna Timireva, who was married to Kolchak's closest friend. Timireva became the love of Kolchak's life. War and destiny separated them but their love endured. Liza Boyarskaya, who plays Anna, says this story can't be compared with other Russian classics like Doctor Zhivago. Liza Boyarskaya, Actress of "Admiral", said, "The only thing they have in common is the ability of the Russian women - as it's described in many novels - to love. To love to the last drop of blood, to the bitter end, to death, they can leave their family and children for the sake of the man they love". "Admiral" is set for release, October 9th.
